Butterfly and Ladybug Embroidered Bag

This cute little bag was made for a little girl. My daughter embroidered the design and I stitched up the bag. I hope the picture does it justice. I love it.

Embroidered Tees

The yellow tee shirt is size 3T, for a little girl in Hawaii. The red one is a ladies large. I really love our embroidery machine. We have found a lot of great designs.

Dad

These are some pictures of my Dad from about 5 years ago. He has lost quite a bit of weight and has to keep pulling the pants up. He is feeling good at this point and is refusing treatments recommended by his doctors. I've talked to you about him and thought you might like to "meet" him.

Betty's Stack & Whack Pillow

This is the stack & whack pillow my daughter is making. Measures 14" x 14" with the border. I like that she chose the deep gray granite like material for the border. We love it. Now she wants to make 2 more for the chairs in her living room. Then she wants to start on some for Christmas gifts. This makes it so easy to get the crazy-quilt look.

Paper Pieced Heart - Pillow

Well, here is the paper-pieced heart block made into a pillow. Used the floral print on the back but needed to add a strip to the flap used to insert the pillow form. I really like the way the opening in the back works out. I think the pillow looks a lot neater than trying to fill it with loose stuffing.

More pictures of Angie. She likes to be near me, but not necessarily on my lap. Here she is laying on the floor by my chair. She looked so cute I had to snap a picture. Stretched out nice and comfy with her front paws crossed. She also likes to sit on my cutting board and on the sewing machine table. If I don't move a block I'm working on I will look over and she's curled up on it.

When I go down to watch tv with Dad at night she will come down too. Sometimes she will follow me upstairs at night and sometimes I have to pick her up and carry her. She is a lot of company.

Crazy Quilt Stack & Whack Pillow

Here is the finished pillow made from my stack & whack crazy quilt. It was approximately 17 " finished with a 16" pillow form in there and it seems to fit nicely so I'll leave it at that. I could take in another 1/4" around but really don't think it needs it. Would you?

The back is solid black with an open flap with a 4" overlap to remove pillow for washing the cover. I love the way it came out.

Now my daughter wants to do 4 of them for her living room. I helped her pick some fabrics for it and as soon as she finishes a project she's working on we will start her blocks.
